Great Clips Online Check-in

Join a Great Clips waitlist before you arrive

Great Clips Online Check-in lets you check in at a participating Great Clips salon without starting your visit in the lobby. It suits people who want a haircut at a nearby salon but would rather see the wait estimate and join the line before heading over. This is a waitlist tool, not a way to reserve a fixed appointment time.

Choose a salon and check in

Use the app to find a Great Clips location, review its wait information and check in. You can look for a salon that fits your plans, then spend the waiting time elsewhere instead of sitting in the lobby. Wait estimates are useful for planning, though the actual wait can change as customers arrive and services take different amounts of time.

• See salon wait information before choosing where to go.
• Check in remotely and keep track of your place in line.
• Save favorite salons to make repeat visits easier to set up.
• Receive a text alert when it is nearly your turn, so you can make your way back.

Useful for routine visits

The app is focused on the check-in process rather than a broad set of salon services. It can help with ordinary walk-in visits, but it does not replace asking a salon directly about a particular service or stylist. If you usually visit the same Great Clips, saving that location can reduce the effort of checking in again. If you prefer to book a specific time, note that online check-in is based on joining the waitlist rather than setting an appointment.
