Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver is an app for people who want to take ride requests, deliver orders, or do both through Uber. It puts trip and delivery work in one place, making it relevant to drivers who want to choose between passenger rides and deliveries as opportunities arise.
The app includes tools for managing requests and navigating to pickups and destinations. Drivers can review earnings information and use estimates and demand indicators to help plan when and where to work. These tools can support decisions about a driving session, but they do not guarantee a particular amount of work or income.
Android Auto support can bring navigation and trip information to a compatible in-car display. Drivers should still follow road-safety rules and avoid handling the phone while driving.
This is aimed at people who drive or deliver with Uber, rather than passengers looking to book a ride. The combined ride and delivery options may suit drivers who want access to both types of work in the same app. The app is most useful to people who are eligible to drive or deliver in their area and want to manage those activities from an Android device.
Its large install count shows that it is widely used, while the rating reflects feedback from a substantial number of users. Neither figure can tell you whether the app or the work will suit your particular needs, so consider the details before deciding.
