Docx Reader - Office Viewer is a mobile app for opening and reviewing office documents and PDFs. It is suited to people who receive files in different formats and want a single place to read them, rather than switching between separate viewers. The listed formats include DOC and XLS files, newer DOCX and XLSX files, PowerPoint presentations, and PDFs.
The app goes beyond simply displaying a document: its PDF tools include highlighting, strikethrough, drawing, and text copying. These options can help when marking up a file for later reference or reviewing material before sharing feedback. They are focused on annotation, rather than replacing a full desktop office suite for creating and editing complex documents.
Docx Reader includes file-management tools for searching, sorting, and marking documents as favorites, which can be useful when local storage holds a growing collection of work files. The reference information also describes document viewing and editing tools as available offline, so an internet connection is not required for those tasks. For long files, thumbnail previews and horizontal or vertical viewing modes offer ways to navigate and read.
This is a practical option for readers who mainly need to open a mix of office files and PDFs on Android, with basic PDF annotation and tools for keeping documents organized. Its large install count indicates broad use, while the rating reflects the views of its Google Play users; neither figure guarantees that it will suit every file or workflow.
